Our History
The Beck family has been fortunate to spend 80 years serving the Eastern PEI communities and beyond. The business began in 1932 in Montague as the Globe Grocery. In 1934, the Globe Grocery unfortunately had a fire, but was able to reopen as Stewart & Beck General Merchants in 1934. The Beck family is nothing if not determined! Since the beginning, Beck's has offered affordable heating and cooling equipment designed for the Island climate.
