Our Story
Founded in 1965 by John "Jack" McMahon, a former RAF Halifax pilot and WW II veteran, Transwest Helicopters has come a long way in providing helicopter services worldwide. From constructing transmission towers, heli-logging, spraying, and fire fighting, to providing services to the Federal Department of Energy, Mines and Resources and the BC Forest Service, we have built a reputation on quality, safety, and trust.
