Empowering Kids to Reach New Heights

A Passion for Promoting Youth Fitness and Gymnastics

Born in 1979 as the Vincent Massey Gymnastics Club, SALTA Gymnastics Club has become a cornerstone of sporting excellence in Medicine Hat and surrounding areas. Founded on the principle of fostering youth fitness and gymnastics, SALTA has evolved into a thriving hub for athletes of all ages and abilities.

Our Humble Beginnings

SALTA's journey began as a recreational program, guided by founder Dick Brooks and coach Pat McRoberts. Recognizing the need for more space and better access, the club relocated and incorporated in 1980. Over the years, through the tireless efforts of volunteers, SALTA expanded and evolved, securing its current location through strategic partnerships and grants.

A State-of-the-Art Facility

Today, SALTA boasts one of the most modern and well-equipped gymnastics facilities in Southern Alberta. The spacious 8000 square foot gym features top-notch equipment and an underground pit, ensuring safe and effective training for athletes of all disciplines.

Our Comprehensive Programs

At SALTA, we offer a diverse range of programs to cater to diverse needs and aspirations. From recreational and competitive gymnastics to preschool programs, CanGym and CanJump camps, and specialized clinics, we have something for everyone.
