Reviews
Negative: The reviewer reported numerous negative experiences, including misleading business conduct, inaccurate property descriptions, and poor communication with the landlord.

Tenant's Complaints

Misleading Business Conduct

The reviewer, Jessika Kelsi, had a terrible experience with the landlord, David. She was told that the rental price was $1400, but later, the terms kept changing. She was initially told that the damage deposit would be $1400, but then was informed that it would triple to $3000 if she didn't agree to the new terms. Despite showing evidence from the Real Estate Trades Directory (RTDRS) that a deposit cannot be more than one month's rent, the landlord refused to listen.

Inaccurate Property Descriptions

The reviewer was also disappointed to find that the properties listed on MLS were not accurately represented. She stated that the houses were not what was described in the listings, and even the landlord, David, was unaware of the conditions of the properties. For instance, when asked if the auto waterer worked, David had no knowledge of the water source, showing a lack of knowledge about the properties.

Plan to Report to Regulatory Agencies

The reviewer is planning to report her experiences with the landlord to various regulatory agencies, including the RTDRS, RECA (Real Estate Council of Alberta), and the Better Business Bureau.
