Disappointing Experience
A buyer had a previous unpleasant experience with Downsview Kitchen, but was willing to give them another chance to fix some water damage issues. The process took six weeks and $140, but the final product was not satisfactory. The new kick plate was too long, and the salesperson's response was inadequate. The customer was asked to hire someone to trim the kick plate, even though it was clear that the salesperson had made an error. The customer was left feeling unsatisfied, with the salesperson getting personal and defensive when confronted about the issue.
Lack of Customer Service
The salesperson's response to the customer's concerns was unhelpful, and the customer was not offered any solutions to fix the problem. The salesperson seemed more focused on saving face rather than resolving the issue. The customer had to escalate the issue to the Toronto office, where they were told that they were being "short" with the salesperson, who was described as "gracious and accommodating".
