Our Instructors
Our instructors have over 26+ years of experience teaching beginners and fleet, helping students and companies to ensure the driving safety of their employees and teaching individuals everything they need to know to excel at driving in Alberta and around the world. Our instructors are also fluent in Spanish.

Online Classrooms
We offer an online classroom option for students to complete the 15-hour classroom instruction component of each Beginners Driving Course. The online format provides students with the flexibility to complete the classroom component at their own pace.

Instructor Quality and Service
Some reviewers had poor experiences with the instructors, citing rudeness, aggression, and poor communication. Matilde Solano's partner had a frustrating experience with an instructor who lacked patience and refused to practice on the highway. Marcela M. had a horrific experience with Instructor Fernando Arrau-Krause, who was rude, aggressive, and abusive. Bobbie Racette also had a negative encounter with the same instructor, who was rude and accusatory.
On the other hand, some reviewers had positive experiences with the instructors. Jayce J.'s teenage son passed his driving test with the help of the instructor. Chika Ando found her instructor, John, to be patient and helpful, and was able to build confidence and pass her road test on the first try. Nicole Jodie Smith and Alfie Cabrezos also praised the patience and kindness of their instructors, John and Fernando, respectively.
Customer Service
There were some issues with customer service, particularly with regards to refunds and payment. Bobbie Racette struggled to get a refund and was treated poorly by the customer service representative.
Results
Many reviewers reported passing their driving tests with the help of IFTS. Chika Ando, Nicole Jodie Smith, and Alfie Cabrezos all passed on their first try.
