Shas Pharmacy has been a trusted partner in health for the Walkley road area of Ottawa for over forty years. Founded by Naresh Sha, the pharmacy has been passed down to its current owner, David Bodunde, who shares the original vision of providing quality pharmacy services, products, and information to help people lead healthier lives. Community Feel and Service
The majority of reviewers have had positive experiences with Shas Pharmacy, praising the staff's exceptional service, warm and welcoming nature, and community-oriented approach. Many customers have been regulars for years and have formed strong bonds with the pharmacists and staff, who treat them like family. The pharmacy's founder, Mr. Shas, is specifically commended for his kind and caring nature, which has trickled down to the current staff.
Disappointment and Frustration
However, a few reviewers have expressed disappointment and frustration with certain aspects of their experiences. Some have complained about inconsistent closing times, with one reviewer feeling misled by the posted times and finding the doors locked early. Another reviewer was unhappy with the tone and communication style of a particular pharmacist, which contributed to an unsatisfactory service. A Black cashier was singled out by one reviewer, who felt unwelcome upon entering the pharmacy.
