Excellent Customer Service and Fast Turnaround Times
Several reviewers praised Classic Eyewear for their exceptional customer service, warm greetings, and quick turnaround times. Paul, the owner, was commended for fitting glasses without charge and repairing broken glasses in a minute or two at no cost. Additionally, the store was able to provide same-day service for new glasses, unlike other places that had a wait time of several weeks.
Issues with Progressive Lenses and Prescription Accuracy
However, some reviewers experienced issues with progressive lenses and prescription accuracy. One reviewer stated that Paul did not know how to configure progressive lenses properly, resulting in a pair of glasses that they couldn't see out of. Another reviewer had issues with their prescription lenses not matching their prescription, and the store initially refused to take responsibility for the mistake.
