Macdero Construction (Ontario) Ltd. was founded in 1985 with a mission to provide professional and client-centered building and structural restoration services. Over the past 37 years, we have dedicated ourselves to fulfilling this mission in a rapidly changing real estate environment. Macdero Construction has completed over 1,000 successful projects, thanks to our experienced and knowledgeable team. Our Principals have more than 75 years of combined industry experience, and over half our staff have been with us for more than 15 years. Our team members bring skills from fields such as engineering, architecture, trades, and business, making us the ideal partner for any building or structural restoration project. We pride ourselves on being professional, collaborative, and experienced in all our projects.
Warning Signs and Red Flags
Many reviewers have highlighted a range of concerns with this company, starting with the quality of their work. One reviewer, Dale Walker, has firsthand experience working on the same job sites as the company. According to Dale, the company's employees are unprofessional, slow, and sloppy in their work. Furthermore, they are described as selfish and rude, with at least one employee being caught drinking on the job while driving on-site.
Delays and Mismanagement
Dale also mentions that the company has failed to meet its estimated completion dates on several job sites. In at least one instance, they were over a year behind schedule. This lack of accountability and mismanagement has resulted in unacceptable delays and inconvenience to clients.
Lack of Respect and Safety Concerns
Unfortunately, Dale's experience with this company has also raised concerns about their treatment of employees and clients. He personally encountered an employee who threatened and verbally attacked him, which is unacceptable and raises serious questions about the company's culture and values.
