Our story began in 1997, when our predecessor, Grant Structural Engineering Ltd, started working on projects that would shape the landscape of Alberta. In 2014, we established Brickhouse Structural Engineering Ltd, an amalgamation of Brickhouse Structural Engineering and Grant Structural Engineering. Today, we are a leading structural engineering consulting firm operated by James Shortt, P. Eng, and Michael Mitchell, C.E.T., who bring over 40 years of combined experience to the design table.
