At SorbaraLAW, we have a rich history in Guelph, dating back to 1996. Our story begins with the legacy of Stelzer Law, founded by Cheryl Stelzer, a dedicated and talented lawyer. With a strong passion for her work, Cheryl successfully built a reputable practice, specializing in Real Estate Law, Family Law, and Wills and Estates.
About Our Office
Our law office is located in a beautiful, historic building in the heart of Guelph. The building, owned by Dr. Dennis Huffman, a respected chiropractor, has been a part of the Guelph community for over a century. The interior of our office is designed to maintain the charm and ambiance of the building, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our clients. You'll often find our friendly office mascot, Molly, an Australian Labradoodle, greeting clients and adding to the cozy atmosphere.

Our team leader, Cheryl Stelzer, has an impressive background in law, graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1993. With over 20 years of experience, Cheryl has built a reputation for excellence in areas such as Real Estate Law, Family Law, and Estates. Michelle, an associate lawyer, graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2021 and has been with our office since 2017. Willa-Lyn, our part-time Bookkeeper, has been with us since the beginning, maintaining our books and handling our financial matters.
