At Macdonald's Prescriptions #3, we take pride in being a trusted and experienced dispensary of prescription and non-prescription medications in Vancouver. Our story begins in 1985, when pharmacist Gary Wong purchased the pharmacy and continued to maintain quality pharmaceutical care while introducing more natural and herbal remedies, as well as essential products and services for optimum health.
As an independent pharmacy, we prioritize people and community before business. Our affiliation with Medicine Centre, a group of over 55 professional independent pharmacists, allows us to share best practices and services, and contribute to healthy communities in British Columbia, Alberta, and the Yukon. Our Services
At Macdonald's Prescriptions #3, we aim to provide a comprehensive range of services to cater to our clients' diverse needs. Our pharmacy offers a wide selection of prescription and non-prescription medications, as well as a variety of natural and herbal remedies. We also stock a range of daily living aids, compression and lymphedema garments, and medical equipment for institutional and retail customers.
Rentals
Our Rental Services department offers a range of mobility aids and medical equipment for short-term and long-term rentals. Our selection includes crutches, wheelchairs, and transport chairs, all of which are available for weekly, monthly, or daily rentals. Our team of experienced fitters will work with you to ensure the right equipment for your needs.
Compounding
As a member of PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America), we are dedicated to meeting the unique healthcare needs of our patients through our compounding knowledge and skills. Our pharmacists are committed to working with you and your healthcare provider to provide the best therapeutic outcomes.

Safety and Customer Service
Some reviewers praised the pharmacy for its emphasis on customer safety and well-being. Cameron Fisk appreciated the multiple air filters throughout the store, low carbon monoxide (CO) levels, and masked staff. Linda Brazier, on the other hand, expressed concerns about the pharmacy's refusal to provide a chair with arms in their storage room, which she deemed an unsafe practice.
Poor Service and Inconvenience
Carolyn L. had a negative experience with the pharmacy's compression socks, which didn't work as expected and the customer service team refused to make things better. Andrew Johnson was kept waiting for 45 minutes and 20 minutes after being told his prescription was ready.
Good Experience and Pharmacy Reviews
