Welcome to the Salt Spring Island Golf Club, a historic and beautiful 9-hole golf course located on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia. Established in 1928, our club has been a beloved destination for golf enthusiasts for nearly a century. Our Course
Our 9-hole, 3037 yard, par 36 course is set amidst the stunning natural beauty of Salt Spring Island. With undulating fairways, water features, and mature forests, our course is a true gem. The north east slopes of Mount Erskine provide a breathtaking backdrop to many holes, making for a truly unforgettable golfing experience. We offer alternate tees, providing a full-length "Back 9" for those who prefer to play 18 holes. Additionally, a set of forward tees shortens the course to 2760 yards for a men's par 35 and ladies par 37.
Our History
The Salt Spring Island Golf Club was established in 1928 by residents eager to have a golf course on the island. At the time, reaching one of the three golf courses on lower Vancouver Island was a near impossibility for Salt Spring islanders, and the establishment of our course marked a significant milestone in the island's transition from agricultural outpost to recreational and retirement haven. Our course has been proudly serving the community for nearly a century, and we take great pride in our rich history and heritage.
Our Amenities
At the Salt Spring Island Golf Club, we offer a range of amenities designed to enhance your golfing experience. Our driving range and practice green provide the perfect opportunity to warm up and hone your skills, while our pro shop is stocked with all the latest gear and accessories. We also offer club and power cart rentals, making it easy for you to get out on the course. Disc Golf and Junior Golf
In addition to our traditional golf course, we also offer disc golf and junior golf programs. Our disc golf course is a popular destination for players of all ages, featuring 18 holes and scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Our junior golf program is designed to introduce young players to the game, providing expert instruction and guidance in a fun and supportive environment.
Indoor Tennis and Squash
But it's not all about golf! Our club also features indoor tennis and squash courts, providing the perfect opportunity to stay active and engaged in sports year-round. Facilities and Staff
