Our History
PF Custom Countertops' journey began with Otto Holzapfel, who immigrated to Canada and started working at Clark Lumber in Edmonton. As a keen entrepreneur, Otto identified an opportunity to learn more about the innovative product of post-form laminate countertops. He became an expert in the field and led the production team for the company. When Clark Lumber discontinued the product line, Otto took the bold step to start his own business, operating the company from his garage. Over the years, his son, John, and brother-in-law, Ed, joined the business, bringing their unique skills and expertise to the table.
Our Team
Today, John, our president, and Ed, our vice president, lead the company's operations. With John's background in business administration and Ed's experience as a journeyman cabinet maker, they have expanded our product line to include laminate, solid acrylic surfaces, and natural and quartz stone surfaces. Our team of approximately 85 employees works together to deliver high-quality, custom countertops to meet the diverse tastes and needs of our clients.
Our Process
