D. S. Dorland Limited is a esteemed professional surveying services provider that has been operating in Northern Ontario for over 45 years. Established in 1977 by David S. Dorland, B.Sc. O.L.S., the company has grown to become one of the leading surveying practices in the region. Our founder, David, began his surveying career in 1966, supervising crews on large projects in Cochrane, Ontario, including Ontario Hydro Right-of-Way surveys, Engineering Surveys, and Second Order Control Surveys throughout Northern and Northwestern Ontario. He completed a Surveying Technician program through Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and a B. Sc. from the Surveying Engineering Program at the University of New Brunswick.
