Davroc is a well-established consulting engineering firm based in Canada, with over three decades of experience in providing a wide range of services related to the construction, assessment, maintenance, and rehabilitation of buildings and structures. The company was founded in 1987 by Principals, David Cousins P.Eng. and Rocco Liscio, M.Eng., P.Eng., and has since expanded to include a team of 55 dedicated professionals.

At Davroc, we offer a wide range of services in building science, geotechnical engineering, hydrogeological studies, environmental engineering, materials testing, and construction quality assurance.

In building science, we provide consulting engagements that involve comprehensive surveys of building assemblies and systems, followed by the recommendation of remedial measures, along with the preparation of specifications and contracts required to execute the work. We offer services in building envelope condition assessment and rehabilitation, balcony condition assessment, rehabilitation and modernization, parking structure condition assessment & rehabilitation, roof assessment, repair, and replacement, glazing remediation and replacement, curtain wall retrofit and replacement, masonry restoration and repair, water and air leakage studies, infrared thermal investigations, maintenance program design, property condition assessments, reserve fund studies, performance audits, capital planning, and project management, as well as construction review and contract administration.

Our geotechnical team provides services in investigating subsurface conditions to assist clients in determining soil and rock properties, groundwater conditions, and assessing the risks associated with site conditions. This helps facilitate the design for earthworks and foundations. Our hydrogeological team works closely with the geotechnical and environmental teams to provide groundwater control systems. Environmental engineering services may be needed as part of regulatory requirements by lenders and financing partners, including Phase I and Phase II ESA's, and we can assist with these requirements.

In materials testing and construction quality assurance, we offer laboratory and field testing of concrete, aggregates, masonry, mortars, grouts, soils, and asphalt, construction field review services, and performance testing of building components and assemblies.
