Coastal Transportation & Storage (CTS) is a trusted Less Than Load (LTL) and Truck Load (TL) service provider covering all of Vancouver Island, the Northern Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast. With a fleet comprised of refrigerated 5-ton units right through to refrigerated 53' tractor-trailer units, we have your service requirements covered. Specializing in service to outlying areas where freight can be a challenge to get through, we pride ourselves on getting there when others can't.
Our Story
From humble beginnings, CTS was formed in June 2008 by Craig Skene, who had a vision to provide reliable and efficient transportation services to the communities of Vancouver Island, the Northern Gulf Islands, and the Sunshine Coast. Starting with just 5 trucks and 7 employees, CTS has since grown to over 26 employees and 30 pieces of equipment, servicing a vast area from our 10,000 square foot warehouse in the Comox Valley. We have come a long way, but our commitment to customer service and community involvement remains unwavering.
Our Services
CTS offers a range of services to meet your transportation and storage needs. Our container rentals are available for daily, weekly, and monthly rentals, and can be delivered anywhere on Vancouver Island and the Northern Gulf Islands, including Powell River. Our refrigerated containers are perfect for storing perishable goods, and our Hiab truck can place them virtually anywhere. We also provide less than load (LTL) and truckload (TL) services, ensuring your goods are delivered safely and efficiently.
Community Involvement
At CTS, we believe in giving back to the community that supports us. We are proud sponsors of You Are Not Alone (YANA) and have been involved with them for almost a decade. We also donate to various local charities and festivals, such as Comox Valley Rotary and Vancouver Island Music Festival. Our commitment to community involvement is just one of the ways we strive to make a positive impact on the communities we serve.
Our Team
Our team is dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers. From our President, Craig Skene, to our Operations Manager, Cole Logan, and our Accounting/Administration team, Becky Mathews, we are all passionate about what we do.
