Our History

Ar-Tech Coating Ltd. was founded in 1989 by Arne Sorensen. Since its humble beginnings in Taber, AB, Ar-Tech has grown to be a leading provider of protective coatings and specialty paint products in Southern Alberta. Our professional applicators stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Coating Technologies and the equipment and conditions for applying them. We operate at the highest standards in the industry, with investments in the newest equipment and facilities to support our customers in achieving their project goals.

Surface Preparation and Abrasive Blasting

Surface preparation is a critical aspect of our services. We understand that the substrate must be clean and free from salts, mill scale, oils, and other chemicals. We use abrasive blasting, which is one of the most effective methods for preparing surfaces for coating. We follow the SSPC-AB standards to ensure that the substrate is properly prepared for coating.

Tank and Vessel Coating

We provide comprehensive training to our employees, including Health and Safety Orientation, H2S Training, Confined Space and Rescue training, First Aid and CPR Training, and WHMIS Training, among others.
