At Immigrant Services Calgary, we are a registered, charitable organization dedicated to helping newcomers build thriving lives in the Calgary community. For over 40 years, we have been working tirelessly to provide support services, programs, and resources to help immigrants and refugees settle and integrate successfully in their new home.

We strive to provide innovative, accessible, and effective services that meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our team of compassionate, dedicated, and diverse staff and volunteers are committed to helping newcomers build strong, sustainable lives in Calgary.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services, including:
- Newcomer Plan: We provide a comprehensive plan to help newcomers settle and integrate in Calgary. Our plan includes support for language training, job search, and family adjustment.
- English Testing & Classes: We offer English language training and testing to help newcomers improve their language skills and improve their chances of employment and integration.
- Job Support: Our job support services include resume building, job search coaching, and interview preparation to help newcomers find employment and achieve their career goals.
- Translation Services: We provide translation services to help newcomers with official documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and diplomas.
- Citizenship Classes: Our citizenship classes help newcomers prepare for the Canadian citizenship test and understand the rights and responsibilities of Canadian citizenship.
- Newcomer Handbook: We offer a comprehensive handbook for newcomers, providing essential information on settlement, integration, and community resources.
