Our Story

Our journey began in 2001, when our founding lawyer, Richard N. Toews, made the decision to shift his focus from downtown Vancouver to Squamish. With a vision to provide local expertise and personalized service to the Sea-to-Sky community, Rick established Toews & Company, which has since flourished into a full-service law firm. In 2015, Kristen E. Courtney joined the team, bringing her sharp legal mind and passion for seeing justice done. Together, Rick and Kristen make a formidable team, each bringing complementary skills to the table.
