A Natural Alternative: Massage Therapy is a privately owned massage therapy clinic situated in the heart of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Since our inception in 1995, we have been dedicated to promoting health, well-being, and vitality through the healing power of massage therapy. History

Founded by Ann Starr in 1995, A Natural Alternative has grown and evolved over the years. Ann, a dedicated and accomplished Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), opened the clinic with a vision to provide high-quality massage therapy services to the community. Since then, the clinic has grown to include four additional RMTs, each with their unique skills and specialties.

In 1999, Ann welcomed her first child, and in the years that followed, she added two more children to her family and four more RMTs to the practice. Today, A Natural Alternative continues to thrive, providing exceptional care to clients in the Kitchener area.

The Clinic

Located at 660 Frederick Street since 1997, A Natural Alternative's clinic is designed to provide a calming and welcoming environment. The clinic is equipped with two massage rooms, a bright waiting room, and a client restroom. In 2009, the clinic underwent a remodel, featuring radiant heat flooring, warm earthy tones, and sleek fixtures. These elements come together to create a restful and functional space for our clients and therapists alike.

Our RMT Team

Our team of dedicated Registered Massage Therapists is committed to providing high-quality care to our clients. Our RMTs are experienced health professionals with extensive training and credentials. In addition to their RMT certification, many of our therapists have special certifications in various modalities, allowing us to provide a wide range of services tailored to our clients' needs.
