Experience and Skills

Gil Malfair, the principal of Malfair Law, has a strong background in business law, with over 25 years of experience. Prior to establishing Malfair Law, Gil worked as a lawyer in private practice in Vancouver and Calgary. He has a commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a law degree from the University of British Columbia. With his extensive experience in business law, Gil has worked with clients in various industries, including mining, oil and gas, energy services, telecommunications, real estate development, software development, and biotechnology. His expertise includes private placements and public offerings of securities, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance matters, share purchase and sale transactions, asset acquisitions and dispositions, and more.
