Public City is an award-winning critical design studio with a unique hybrid practice that encompasses architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, public art, public engagement, and indigenous design consultation. Our firm is owned and led by Liz Wreford and Peter Sampson, two highly accomplished design principals with a combined experience of 50 years in professional design practice. We are based in Manitoba, Ontario, and Alberta for architecture, and Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, and Alberta for landscape architecture.

Our team consists of highly skilled and experienced professionals, including architects, landscape architects, urban designers, and public art specialists, all of whom are committed to a collaborative and inclusive approach to design.
