Ground Engineering Consultants Ltd. is a Saskatchewan-based engineering company that has been providing specialized consulting services in the geotechnical and environmental engineering fields since 1972. Our head office and materials testing laboratory are located in Regina, Saskatchewan, in a purpose-built facility capable of undertaking a wide range of soil, concrete, and asphalt testing. At Ground Engineering Consultants Ltd., we pride ourselves on offering a complete "geoenvironmental package, " which includes geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, roadway engineering, construction inspection, and materials testing for quality assurance and control.

Our team of experienced professionals has the expertise and resources to tackle even the most challenging projects. We employ four Professional Engineers with qualifications and experience in geotechnical, hydrogeology, and environmental engineering, as well as Civil Engineering Technologists and Technicians who complement our civil engineering capabilities. Materials Testing

Ground Engineering maintains a state-of-the-art materials testing facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Our facility and staff are CCIL certified and have significant experience and capabilities in providing a wide range of materials testing services. Our services include:

• Soil testing: moisture content, Atterberg limits, standard proctor, unconfined compressive strength, grain size analysis, group index, California bearing ratio (CBR), sulfate content, density, and aggregate grain size analysis
• Asphalt testing: Marshall mix design testing, asphalt content by ignition method, bulk specific gravity, stability and flow, theoretical maximum specific gravity, percent air voids, voids in mineral aggregate, and stripping potential

Construction Testing & Inspection

Our engineering and technical staff are ready to get your project off the ground and running. Our services include:

• In-situ soil density and moisture content testing using nuclear densometer or sand cone equipment
• CCIL/CSA certified concrete testing, including slump, air content, temperature, and compressive strength
• CCIL/CSA certified grout testing
• Subgrade inspection and proof roll testing
• Inspection of foundation construction, including bored concrete piles, driven steel and timber piles, and helical steel screw piles
