Service Issues and Miscommunications
Some customers at Harborview Vue have reported issues with service and miscommunications. Tom Lockyer took his motor to the marina for winterizing and storage, but was charged $534 for work he didn't authorize. He felt that the marina should have called him for permission before proceeding. It took multiple emails and a letter to resolve the issue and get a correct invoice.
On the other hand, multiple customers have reported excellent service and positive experiences at Harborview Vue. Canadianshadowrider and Zheebak Cada both gave the marina 5-star reviews, praising the friendly and knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, and excellent customer service. Denis Gadwa also gave a 5-star review, raving about the marina's facilities and the friendly reception he received. John Bolduc's review was more ambiguous, but still gave a high rating, although his comments seemed unrelated to the marina's service.
Mechanical Work and Phone Etiquette
Some customers at Harborview Vue have had positive experiences with their mechanical work. Canadianshadowrider's group had mechanical problems with their boat and were able to get help from the marina, which they appreciated. Zheebak Cada also reported that the marina was able to help him find a motor for his pontoon.
However, Jack Jensen had a negative experience with the phone etiquette at the marina. He reported that the women who answered the phone were unfriendly and one even hung up on him. He did mention that the mechanics he worked with were competent and friendly, but he felt that the marina needed to improve their phone service.
