R.J. Smith Dental Laboratory has been a trusted name in Hamilton dentistry for over 25 years. Founded in 1993 by Ray Smith, a second-generation machinist and trained dental technician, the lab has always prioritized excellence, compassion, and effective communication in dental prosthetics.

Ray grew up in Hespeler, Ontario, and discovered his passion for dental technology while working in a small dental laboratory. After earning his RDT in 1987, Ray honed his skills in a larger operation laboratory before realizing his dream of opening R.J. Smith Dental Laboratory. Today, he runs the lab alongside his wife, Therese, and two sons, Dylan and Josh, who share his commitment to family and the highest quality standards.
