Issues with Key Cutting and Customer Service
Reilly Lock has been criticized for poor key cutting skills, with one reviewer's key being cut incorrectly despite being the only company with their Medeco key on file. The company refused to pick up the key from downtown Toronto to fix it and also denied a refund for the $25 charge.
Problems with Product Quality and Refunds
Reviews have also mentioned issues with product quality, with one reviewer being sold a product that did not work and being charged $150 for a technician to come and try to fix it. The company refused to provide a refund, leaving the customer out of pocket for close to $600.
Disappointing Experience with Security System Installation
Another reviewer had a disappointing experience with the installation of a camera security system. Despite the system being under warranty, the company tried to bill them for a replacement camera. The installation technician also drilled an additional hole in the house, leaving the old hole open, and the video recorder was frustrating to use.
