Our Lawyer: K. Rhodel Ferriss
Rhodel Ferriss is an experienced lawyer who has been serving the Swan River Valley for over 24 years. She grew up in Ashern, in the heart of Manitoba's Interlake, and returned to rural Manitoba after attending the University of Manitoba for six years. Rhodel articled at Burnside and Company, was called to the bar in 1999, and formed a partnership with Gary Burnside in 2005, which lasted until his retirement in 2015.
Rhodel has experience in almost all areas of the law and has assisted clients with their real estate, estate planning, and estate administration needs for over two decades. Her practice has focused on family law, civil litigation, and child protection work for several child welfare agencies. Currently, Rhodel's practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions but still includes real estate, estate planning, and estate administration.
Rhodel believes strongly in community volunteer work and the benefits of a rural lifestyle. She is currently a board member of the Community Foundation of Swan Valley.
