K5 Insurance

The Insurance Brokers Association of Saskatchewan (IBAS) is a voluntary, membership-based not-for-profit organization that represents the interests of approximately 160 property and casualty insurance brokerages operating in 250 different communities across the province. Founded in 1952, IBAS champions the interests of both its members and consumers to government, the industry at-large, and the general public.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a strong and unified voice for the insurance brokerage industry in Saskatchewan. We achieve this by providing our members with the resources, support, and advocacy they need to succeed in a rapidly changing marketplace. Our team of dedicated professionals works tirelessly to promote the importance of insurance brokerages and the value they bring to their clients.

Our Services

At IBAS, we offer a wide range of services and programs designed to support our members and benefit the public. These include education and training programs, such as the Canadian Professional Insurance Broker Program and the Fundamentals of Insurance course, as well as licensing exams and continuing education opportunities. We also provide member advocacy and support, consumer protection, and a range of other resources and benefits.

Our goal is to be the leading voice for the insurance brokerage industry in Saskatchewan, and to promote the importance of insurance brokerages and the value they bring to their clients. We strive to provide our members with the tools and resources they need to succeed, and to advocate on their behalf to government and industry stakeholders.
