Thomas J. Stead Construction Ltd, a family-owned Muskoka construction/contracting business, is proud to offer over 100 years of combined experience to our clients. With three generations of expertise, we are dedicated to the construction of quality custom homes and cottages with exceptional craftsmanship, state-of-the-art construction, and service that continues beyond the completion of the project.

Our Services

We offer a diverse range of services to cater to your construction needs. Our team includes project managers, licensed carpenters, cabinet makers, laborers, and an extensive sub-trade base, enabling us to cover and complete the many different aspects of residential, commercial, or vacation projects. We are experienced in all areas of home and cottage construction, as well as guest houses, docks, and boathouses/ports - often in difficult locations.

We provide premium quality Muskoka construction services at competitive rates while maintaining absolute personal commitment and involvement with our clients. Our range of services includes renovating, construction and additions, electrical, plumbing, and more. We also offer a unique bargaining service for the Muskoka area, equipped with two barges and a small fleet of boats, allowing us to accommodate "drive to" jobs as well as water access jobs.
