Welcome to Credit Valley Tennis Club, a seasonal, not-for-profit community-based club located in the heart of Mississauga, Ontario. Our club features 8 outdoor lighted clay courts nestled in a picturesque wooded park setting. We are proud to offer a welcoming environment for members and their guests of all ages and skill levels.

Our Mission

At Credit Valley Tennis Club, we are committed to providing a unique and enjoyable tennis experience to our members and their families. Our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive community that fosters a love for tennis, while promoting healthy lifestyles, social connections, and a sense of belonging.

Services

At Credit Valley Tennis Club, we offer a range of services designed to enhance your tennis experience. Our court maintenance team works tirelessly to ensure our courts are always in prime condition, and our online court booking system makes it easy to schedule a court that suits your needs.

Programs

We offer a variety of programs and events throughout the season, designed to cater to all skill levels and interests. Our programs include:

  • House League: A competitive league for members who want to play against others with similar skill levels.
  • Singles Ladder: A singles tournament-style format for members who want to improve their skills and compete against others.
  • Intercounty Teams: We form teams to compete against other clubs in the area.
  • Social Mixers: Casual social events that bring members together to enjoy each other's company and have fun.

Club Rules

At Credit Valley Tennis Club, we have established a set of rules to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all members. Some of our key rules include:

  • Members must only book a court they themselves will play on for the entire duration of the booking.
  • Booking courts for friends or family is NOT allowed.
  • The names of all people playing on the court must appear on the booking, including guest players.

Membership

Membership at Credit Valley Tennis Club offers a wide range of benefits, including access to eight outdoor lighted clay courts, court maintenance, and a range of programs and events. We also offer short-term memberships for new potential members to try out the club.

Guest Fees

Guest fees are $15 for all ages. Guests can only be registered by a sponsoring member during the online court booking process. Associated guest fees must be paid within 15 minutes of booking the court using our online payment system.

Management and Staff

Many reviewers have had a poor experience with the management and staff of the club. As Dutt, who gave the club 1 star, reported that the staff did not care about fixing a problem with the FOB and that the management did not address the issue. Para Radha also had a negative experience with the president of the club, who was rude to them. On the other hand, Asad Qureshy and Jayce James praised the staff, with Qureshy mentioning that the club pro, Petya, was super nice and willing to help.

Clay Courts and Facilities

The club's clay courts have received high praise from many reviewers. Mo Durra and Jayce James stated that the clay court surface was the best in Mississauga. Peter and Asad Qureshy also praised the clay courts, with Peter mentioning that they were well-organized and in excellent condition. Shelley Li noted that the club was a great place to meet other members and have a good playing experience.
