Empowering You to Take Control of Your Health
At our clinic, we are dedicated to providing exceptional physical therapy services to individuals seeking to recover from injuries or manage chronic conditions. Our mission is to empower our patients with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take control of their health and well-being. Our team, led by Kaylyn Gordon, BScKin, MScPT, CAFCI, is committed to delivering personalized and compassionate care that addresses the unique needs and goals of each patient.
Our Story
Kaylyn Gordon, our founder and primary physical therapist, grew up on a farm north of Mannville, Alberta. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta, she worked as a therapy assistant for Alberta Health Services, gaining valuable experience in the field. She then pursued her Master of Science in Physical Therapy, graduating with distinction in 2015. Throughout her career, Kaylyn has continued to expand her knowledge and skillset through additional courses and certifications, including anatomical acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, and advanced vestibular rehabilitation.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of physical therapy services designed to help patients achieve their therapeutic goals and self-manage their conditions. Our services include:
- Physiotherapy: Our physiotherapy services focus on restoring mobility and function, preventing injuries and diseases, and promoting overall wellness. We employ a proactive approach to address pain, functional limitations, and other challenges affecting the musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurology, and pediatrics systems.
- Anatomical Acupuncture: Our anatomical acupuncture services aim to reset the body's energy flow (Qi) by placing needles in specific points to stimulate the release of pain-relieving hormones (endorphins). This technique is particularly effective for treating musculoskeletal conditions.
- Dry Needling: Dry needling is a technique that involves placing needles in taught bands (trigger points) within muscles to reduce pain and promote healing. This therapy is often used in conjunction with physiotherapy to enhance treatment outcomes.
- Vestibular Rehabilitation: Our vestibular rehabilitation services focus on treating individuals experiencing dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. We employ advanced techniques to address these complex conditions and promote optimal function.
- Manual Therapy: Our manual therapy services involve hands-on techniques to improve joint mobility, reduce muscle tension, and enhance overall range of motion.
- Exercise Therapy: Our exercise therapy programs are tailored to individual needs and goals, focusing on strength, balance, coordination, and cardiorespiratory function.
- Billing Options: We offer flexible billing options, including extended health benefits and private payment, to ensure that our services are accessible to everyone.
