Customer Service Issues
Emterra has been receiving a lot of negative feedback from customers, particularly about their recycling pickup service. Several customers have expressed frustration over missed pickups, spillage, and inconsistent service. Michael Bowe had a terrible experience when the truck missed his house, despite numerous calls and promises of a return pickup. Similarly, Paul Bittante mentioned that the service has deteriorated significantly since the city switched from city collection to Emterra.
Inefficiency and Lack of Attention to Detail
Many customers have pointed out that Emterra's employees seem to lack attention to detail. For instance, MaryAnn McDevitt mentioned that the employees often spill more recyclables on the lawns and road than they manage to collect, and they rarely bother to clean up the mess. She also noted that they stopped picking up glass without informing anyone, and their excuse for not picking up blue boxes due to 'road conditions' was not convincing.
Recycling Limitations and Lack of Solutions
Some customers are unhappy with the limitations of Emterra's recycling service. K.- Fed mentioned that the company would not take excess recycling, even when the bins were full. This lack of flexibility and solution-oriented approach has left many customers dissatisfied.
