Samir Ghanem's artistic journey began in his native Lebanon, blossoming into a remarkable career spanning over three decades. Throughout his prolific career, Ghanem has produced over two thousand paintings, each meticulously documented and catalogued. Over 1,408 of his artworks have found loving homes across Canada, while the remaining works are carefully preserved in his expansive studio library.

From 1980 to 1985, Ghanem successfully owned and managed the largest gallery in Ottawa, showcasing both Canadian and international art. His curated exhibitions included remarkable works by Salvador Dali, Jacques Besner, and renowned Native American artists. Although he eventually stepped back from the gallery business to prioritize his artistic pursuits, the legacy of that vibrant space remains evident in the diverse and captivating art that fills the gallery today.
