At Aspen Greenhouses, we are proud to be Central Alberta's premier plant specialists, dedicated to growing a beautiful selection of quality plants and flowers for over 30 years. All of our plants are grown right here in central Alberta in our own greenhouse, resulting in fresh and healthy looking plants and flowers. From annuals to perennials and herbs to ornamental grasses, we have a vast section of plants to choose from. In addition, we offer a variety of exquisite hanging baskets and planter arrangements that are ready to go.
Our journey began in 1990 when Bert and Annelies Vander Vlugt, who grew up in the Netherlands surrounded by the greenhouse industry, immigrated to central Alberta with their four sons. They started by growing perennials for seed production and cut flowers, and eventually built their own greenhouse in 1993. Over the years, our greenhouse has continued to expand, and we have transitioned from growing hothouse tomatoes to focusing solely on potted plants for the wholesale market. In 2006, we opened our retail area, and today, we are proud to offer a wide variety of plants and flowers to our customers.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to our customers, including wholesale opportunities for national chain stores and independent garden centres across Alberta. We also provide fundraising opportunities for local organizations and schools. Our retail outlet is open during the spring season, and we invite customers to come and explore our vast selection of plants and flowers.
