The Tri-Cities Local Immigration Partnership (TCLIP) is a dynamic, community-driven organization based in the Tri-Cities of Metro Vancouver. Composed of passionate individuals and organizations, TCLIP works to foster welcoming and inclusive communities where newcomers and established residents can thrive together.

Our vision is to empower newcomers and build a more inclusive and welcoming community in the Tri-Cities. We believe that by fostering diversity and inclusion, we create a stronger and more vibrant community for everyone.
Our Mission
TCLIP works to:
- Promote social and civic inclusion of newcomers in the Tri-Cities.
- Support and empower newcomers in the job market.
- Expand access to community information and services.
- Raise awareness and address the root causes of social exclusion.
- Foster meaningful collaboration and partnerships among community stakeholders.
Our Services
TCLIP offers a diverse range of services and initiatives to support newcomers and facilitate community inclusion:
1. Anti-Oppression Capacity Building
- Workshops and coaching sessions to empower service providers to apply anti-oppression approaches in their work.
2. Tri-Cities Wrap Around Model of Care for Mental Health in Immigrant Families
- Training and resources to support early years providers in addressing the mental health needs of immigrant families.
3. Community-Based Planning Project
- Engaging local stakeholders to collaboratively identify and address community needs and prioritize inclusion.
4. Access to Community Information & Services
- Providing up-to-date information on resources and services available to newcomers.
5. Social and Civic Inclusion of Newcomers
- Programs and initiatives to foster inclusive communities and combat social isolation.
6. Advocacy and Research
- Conducting research and advocating for policies and practices that promote newcomer integration.
7. Community Events and Initiatives
- Hosting workshops, forums, and community events to promote inclusion and facilitate connections.
8. Resource Library and Training Opportunities
- Providing access to resources and professional development opportunities on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
