Our family-owned and operated motel has been a staple in the community since 2016, and we take pride in providing simple, clean, and affordable accommodations for travelers from all over the world.
Our Story
As a family-owned business, we are passionate about sharing our love for Waterton Lakes National Park with our guests. Our owners, Jimmy and Ashley Riddle, have a long history of living and working in the area, and their family has been involved in the local business community for over 70 years. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Our Services
At Bear Mountain Motel, we offer a range of services and amenities to make your stay with us truly unforgettable. Our rooms are designed to provide comfort and convenience, with amenities such as mini fridges, patio chairs, and BBQ tools available at the front desk. We also have a patio area with an ice machine, microwave, and picnic tables for our guests to use.
Our rooms are categorized into three types: standard rooms, deluxe rooms, and studios and suites. Our standard rooms are perfect for solo travelers or couples, with options for single rooms with one queen bed, simple single rooms with two twin beds, or single rooms with two queen beds. Our deluxe rooms offer more space and amenities, with two bedrooms and a remodeled bathroom. Our studios and suites are ideal for families or groups, with kitchenettes or full kitchens available.
Amenities and Policies
We understand that every guest is unique, and we strive to provide amenities and services that cater to their individual needs. Our pet-friendly policy allows guests to bring their furry friends along, with a fee of $25 per stay. We also have a deposit and cancellation policy in place to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for our guests.
Check-in and Check-out
Our check-in time is from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., and check-out is at 11 a.m. However, we are happy to accommodate special requests for early check-in or late check-out, subject to availability.
Quiet Time and Smoking Policy
We prioritize the comfort and relaxation of our guests, and therefore, we have a quiet time policy from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. All rooms are also non-smoking, to ensure a safe and healthy environment for everyone.

The location is central, with the marina, coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance.
