Our Story
Our journey began in the early 1940s with over-the-counter sales of roofing materials at Meikar Roofing. In 1952, Fred Meikar opened the doors to Tamar Building Products, named after his wife, Tamara. Since then, we have continued to grow and expand our operations, including the opening of a second location in Ruthven in 2005. Today, we are locally owned and operated, with a strong commitment to providing quality building materials to our customers.
