Our Story
Our company was founded by William Dwyer, who later sold the business to his son, Shawn Dwyer, and Andrew MacDonell. When Shawn retired, he sold his half of the business to Andrew, who is the sole owner today. Excellent Customer Service and Workmanship
Dwyer Glass has been praised by several customers for their excellent customer service and workmanship. Peter Valiquet, Miriam Rodgers, Louise Pattison, and Emily Palmer have all given the company 5-star reviews, highlighting their friendly and professional staff. Peter needed a piece of ceramic glass for his wood stove and was impressed by the company's ability to make a template and cut a perfect match. Miriam had a broken window replaced by Dwyer Glass, who measured up the glass and installed it quickly. Louise and Emily also had positive experiences with the company, praising their excellent service and workmanship.
Disappointing and Unprofessional Conduct
However, several customers have had negative experiences with Dwyer Glass. Meghan Carter gave the company a 1-star review, claiming that they replaced her window with tempered glass despite knowing that it would crack due to a "beware of dog sign" in the window. The company's owner allegedly claimed that it was due to "thermal stress" and refused to take responsibility. Meghan feels "screwed over" and is now considering taking the company to small claims court.
Stacey Ladouceur also had a negative experience with Dwyer Glass, giving them a 1-star review. She claimed that the company did a terrible job on her window, which broke within a year of installation.
