Our History

GenMec ACL's history dates back to the 1950s when our founder, Valere Roy, started a small carpentry business in Bonnyville. Over the years, the company grew and evolved, taking on larger projects and expanding its services. In the 1970s, the company became the premiere general contractor in the region, tackling massive projects such as water and sewer infrastructure at 4 Wing Cold Lake and the Bonnyville Provincial Building. Today, we are proud to be one of the leading construction companies in Northeast Alberta, with a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
