Our Story
The Bakery was founded by Fritz and Ursula Rebelein, who moved to Gravenhurst with their family in 1959 and purchased a small bakery business at 141 Brock Street. Over the years, the business grew, and so did the family. Five children were raised playing and working in the back of the Bakery, learning the secrets of traditional recipes and the importance of hard work and dedication. In 1974, their oldest child Peter and his wife Judy purchased the business and continued to build on the family's legacy. Today, the third generation, Jay and Robyn, are an integral part of the business, ensuring that the family's traditions and values are carried forward.
