Founded in 1978 by Derek Didone Sr and his wife Debbie, County Towing is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the communities and clients of Essex County for over 40 years. With a strong commitment to family and community values, County Towing has built a reputation for providing high-quality towing and recovery services. In 2018, County Towing acquired long-time competitor Coxon Towing, allowing us to expand our fleet and team to better serve our clients. Today, we are the largest tow operation in Southwestern Ontario, with over 24 trucks, 18 team members, and 3 locations.
Our Services
County Towing offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of our clients. Our heavy-duty towing specialists are equipped with the largest heavy-duty fleet in S.W Ont., allowing us to serve you whenever and wherever you need us. We specialize in heavy-duty cross border towing and are experienced in regularly crossing into the United States to perform tractor swaps for our valued clients.
In addition to our heavy-duty towing services, we also offer emergency roadside assistance. Our light-duty towing fleet is available 24/7 to get you where you need to go, and we also offer vehicle unlock, tire change, and battery boosting services.
County Towing is a problem solver. If you find yourself in need of recovery services, one call to us will end your troubles. No matter what size or where your vehicle has ended up, our team of trained recovery professionals will have you back on the road in no time.
Secure Storage Facility
Our secure outdoor and indoor impound lots exceed the requirements set by the TSSO Program, including an E-Impound management system. We are an approved TSSO Service Provider under the new OPP Tow Program, which includes significant changes to the way the OPP requests services from and interacts with Tow & Storage Service Operators. This program applies to legislated tows for which police have legislated authority, such as vehicle impoundment for impaired driving, stunt driving, or evidence. It also applies to tows requested by OPP officers on behalf of members of the public who need a tow.
Specialty Services
C Specialty Services is our newly branded sister company, specializing in emergency incident management and specialized transportation. This division allows us to build a separate, highly skilled team that is prepared and qualified to respond to emergency incidents and handle the transportation and logistics of any move that you may need.
Our services include float service and machinery moving, incident management and spill control, load transfers and securement. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service and safety to our clients.
Our Fleet
At County Towing, we have a fleet of over 25 pieces of equipment to cover our clients' every need. Our team consists of more than 18 sought-out career professionals specializing in their respective fields.
