Meet the Team
Bryanne, the owner and operator of Wild Roots, was born and raised in Burns Lake, BC. Her floral career started there in 2000, but it was her time in Calgary as a floral designer that truly allowed her talent to bloom. Bryanne completed her design training at the Canadian Institute of Floral Design in Toronto in the winter of 2009. She was the lead designer in two fast-paced flower stores in Calgary before the call of BC brought her home in 2016. Upon returning home, Bryanne began her own business designing wedding flowers from a studio in her home. In 2019, Wild Roots Flowers & Gifts became a reality, allowing Bryanne to launch her passion project.
Our team at Wild Roots is constantly expanding and growing. We are proud to have Kristen, Bryanne's sister, as a part of our team. Kristen manages all of our social media platforms and is a huge help in all other areas of the store. She is also our resident plant expert! Rivey, our first employee, started in May of 2019 and has recently returned to us part-time. She is a talented designer and quick to make us laugh. Jill, our Interior Designer and Fusion Mineral Paint Consultant, has more talent in her pinky than most of us have in our whole body.
