At Island Brae Golf Club, we take pride in being one of the premier 9-hole facilities in the Ottawa Valley. Established in the 1950s, our course has evolved to provide a unique and enjoyable experience for golfers of all levels. From the scenic views of the Ottawa River to our practice facilities, which include a short game area, putting green, and full driving range on natural grass, we cater to both beginners and seasoned players.

Our History

The Island Brae Golf Club is situated on scenic Morrison's Island on property that has been owned by the Rogers family for over half a century. The course was established in the 1950s by Dean Rogers, assisted by local golf professional Al Hancock. Over the years, our course has undergone significant changes, with the current owner and Head Professional, Dan Shields, taking over the daily operations in 1999. Today, our course stretches over 3,000 yards with different tee blocks for the front nine and back nine rounds, and four sets of tees to accommodate a variety of skill levels.
