Learn About Acupuncture
If you are new to acupuncture, you may have questions about how it works and what to expect. We are here to help! Our practitioner, Wendy, will take the time to explain the benefits and risks of acupuncture and answer any questions you may have. We want our clients to feel confident and informed about their healthcare decisions.
Get Rid of the Fear of Needles
If you have a fear of needles, you are not alone. Many people are hesitant to try acupuncture because of this fear. However, we want to assure you that the needles used in acupuncture are very thin and cause minimal discomfort. In fact, many of our clients report feeling relaxed and rejuvenated after their treatments. We will do everything we can to make your experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
What is Acupuncture Most Effective For?
Acupuncture is most effective for treating chronic pain, stress-related disorders, and neurological disorders. It can also be effective for treating acute injuries and digestive disorders. However, the effectiveness of acupuncture depends on many factors, including the severity and duration of the condition being treated, the client's overall health and lifestyle, and the skill and experience of the practitioner.
How Many Treatments Are Expected?
The number of treatments needed varies depending on the condition being treated and the individual client. Some clients may experience relief after just one treatment, while others may require multiple treatments over several weeks or months. Our practitioner, Wendy, will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your specific needs and goals.
Who Pays for the Treatment?
Many extended health insurance plans cover acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to determine your coverage. We also offer direct billing for some insurance providers, so please let us know if you would like us to check your coverage. For clients who do not have insurance coverage, we offer flexible payment options to make our services accessible to everyone.
