Imagination Station Child Care

At Imagination Station Child Care, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive. Our mission is to provide interactions and experiences that help children develop socially, emotionally, physically, and cognitively through a hands-on approach. We believe that children need to be given time to play and investigate the world around them, which fosters healthy, cognitive, and social development.

Our Center

Our center is designed to mimic a group care setting, where children can explore and learn in a safe and secure environment. The areas of play are separated to cater to different age groups and interests. We have designated areas for preschool, science, dramatic play, block play, and reading, as well as a quiet area for individual quiet play. Our center is located in the lower level of our home, providing a cozy and supportive environment for your child to grow.

Our Approach

At Imagination Station, we believe that guidance is about helping children develop the principles, attitudes, and skills they need to become competent, caring, confident, and responsible individuals. We use positive guidance and redirection to focus on more appropriate choices, rather than punishment. Our goal is to teach children how to handle conflict and disappointment in a healthy and constructive way.

Quality Child Care

We provide care that is safe, secure, and educational. Our programs are designed to enhance the social, emotional, and physical development of your child. We focus on individualized needs and emphasize open communication and cooperation with families. We work hand-in-hand with families to provide early childhood learning experiences that nurture your child's growth and development.

Services

We offer flexible childcare options to accommodate your family's needs. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. We care for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our weekly rates vary depending on the number of hours your child attends. We accept electronic billing with auto-payments and Wisconsin Shares payments.

Qualifications

At Imagination Station, we are state-licensed and nationally accredited through the National Association for Family Child Care. Our director-owner, Sheri Johnson, has over 25 years of experience providing child care services. She holds a degree in early childhood education and is certified in child and infant CPR, AED, and first aid.
