Our Team
Mountain Law Corporation is proud to have a team of highly skilled and experienced legal professionals who are dedicated to serving our clients. Our firm is led by Amanda Welton-Hagen, who took over the firm from Peter Shrimpton in July 2023. Amanda began her legal career in 2011 and has since gained extensive experience in corporate/commercial law, real estate law, and governance. She holds both American and Canadian law degrees and is committed to providing expert legal assistance to our clients.
Peter Shrimpton, the founder of Mountain Law Corporation, grew up skiing and vacationing in Whistler. He started his family in Whistler over 30 years ago and has been an active member of the community ever since. Peter has served on the board of the Whistler Youth Soccer Club, provided pro bono legal advice to numerous non-profits and charities, and volunteered weekly for Whistler Community Services Society's low-income law clinic in association with Access Pro Bono B.C. He was recognized with a provincial award for his APB service in July 2023.
Our Office
Mountain Law Corporation is conveniently located in Function Junction, Whistler, BC. Our office is easily accessible by public transportation, and we offer free parking for our clients. Our office hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding statutory holidays. We offer flexible appointment scheduling to accommodate our clients' busy schedules.
