Adam Vanderwoerd, the owner of The Gibsons Butcher Shop, is a local to the Sunshine Coast, having lived here all his life. After working at Super Valu as the head butcher for many years, Adam decided to venture out on his own. His passion for food and fine meats is clear the moment you step into his shop. He takes great pride in the preparation of all his beautiful cuts of meat and is always happy to offer cooking tips or suggest different ways to prepare your favorite cuts of meat.

Our smoked meats are personally smoked by Adam and sell out within hours each and every time he makes it.
