Reviews
Positive: Reasonably priced menu with many options, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service.
Negative: Poor service, long wait times, rude staff, and unsatisfactory response to negative feedback.

Dining Experience at Encore

Encore, located in the Inn on the Lake in Fall River, has been reviewed by several patrons. Their experiences vary from having a terrible service despite good food, to a more positive experience with a cozy atmosphere and character.

Service Issues

Dannette S. had a disappointing experience with the service at Encore. She and her husband had to wait for a long time to get their coffee and had to ask for refills. The travelers breakfast was tasty, but the bill was high, and they didn't receive change when they overpaid. This experience left them with a negative impression, and they plan to look for a place with both good food and service next time.

Shawn A. had a very poor experience with Encore. He and a group of friends were told to leave after being informed that the wait was over three hours, and they were not welcome to wait. They felt rudely treated and decided to go to Finbars in Bedford instead. Encore's reaction to their negative feedback on Facebook was also unsatisfactory, as they called the group liars and deleted their comments.

Positive Experiences

Rachelle B. had a more positive experience at Encore. She found the atmosphere to be nicely decorated and simple, with friendly service. She tried the Atlantic Blue Mussels and Bruschetta, which were cooked well and standard overall. Her friend had the Classic Clubhouse, which was nothing memorable but not bad either. She would go back if someone wanted to, but it wouldn't be her first choice.

Ben B. also had a positive experience at Encore. He found the restaurant to have much more character than expected for a hotel restaurant. The menu had plenty of options and was reasonably priced. The fishcakes and skillet dish were standouts, but the Eggs Benny were a bit of a letdown due to the Hollandaise being browned and solidified. Overall, they felt good about the price and Encore as a great option for fueling up before a day of air travel.
