Our History
The Halliburton Hotel has a rich history, dating back to 1809 when it was built as the home of Sir Brenton Halliburton, the first Chief Justice of the Nova Scotia Supreme Court. Later, from 1885 to 1887, the building served as Dalhousie University's prestigious law school. Today, our hotel is a testament to the city's rich heritage, blending historic charm with modern amenities and comforts.
